I have a left ankle.

I had the most completely terrible day yesterday. I had a completely terrible week concerning my swelling and sleeping - or not sleeping as the case may be. I came home from work early and slept and slept and slept... MANY hours of being horizontal has given me an ankle back! Also some muscle definition - my legs have always been ripped, even though I am fat. Only a little swelling left on the top of my foot. It's about time to get horizontal again to try to keep this good effect going. I had to get up and go to the dump to take recycling and go get Chinese food - real food for Michael (if you call tofu real food), and only soup for me as today also included vomiting and other gastro-intestinal issues. I am probably dehydrated. I hope when I get re-hydrated the swelling stays down. Note to Emily - look, my toenails are not perfect and polished. There's actually a reason though. I had such a bad night Thursday night that I figured I was going to go to a doctor on Friday and sometimes the color or condition of your nail beds can be a sign or symptom, but you probably already know that. I was productive while I was not sleeping and unpolished them in preparation for my doctor visit.

Editing to add that the picture to view for contrast was in the Feb 14 entry.

Pretty potty.

I don't know why I couldn't get this one in focus.
Pure paper.
Simple collage.
Pure paper - this blue accents the other blues in the bathroom perfectly.
More detailed collage. Ooh - a spiral!
The entire arrangement. See the pretty canisters - cotton balls, cotton swabs, and Cottonelle! The middle canister is the perfect size to hold that extra roll of "bathroom tissue" you need to keep nearby! I noticed after I completed the entire thing all the frames need to be about two inches to the left. I'll move them...someday.

All paper by Twisted Limb Paperworks. http://www.twistedlimbpaper.com/index.html

Ya mon, no problem.

I know you want to see the blister. I can sense it.

Unbelievable!

I went to Dr. Karin today and she worked on my knee quite a bit. It still has a bruise. Gillian just asked me how it was yesterday and I said, "It still has a little shadow of a bruise." When I showed her she said, "That's not a shadow. That's a bruise!" Karen used her little "percussion" machine on it quite a bit. After she was done, the bruise had visibly faded a little more. I took a picture of it a few days ago, but it was hard to get the light right to show the bruise. I took those pictures on the 27 - what was that? Five days ago? I fell on December 19, so it has been about 10 weeks since the fall. Karin and I were talking about how I need to start exercising again. I started to put my shoes back on and noticed a weird bump on the ball of my foot. I took my sock off and there is a brand new blister! I have no idea why I got it. I was wearing shoes I have worn many times. I didn't do a lot of walking today, nothing. I did wear a new pair of socks today, but they are just like all the socks I wear, and I think I have even had this brand before. Tonight it has been hurting like crazy, every time I take a step! I feel like it be forever before I get to start exercising. I want to join the Y so I can use the pools. Even if I can only water walk or tread water it would be better than nothing! The Y is about $50 a month, though, and I just don't know if I can swing it. Sigh...
