They say

if you recycle one aluminum can you save enough energy to run a television for three hours. So if I forget to turn a TV off for three hours and nobody is watching it, have I unnecessarily killed one baby aluminum can?

(If that is true we've been doing our part to kill baby cans here- despite my best efforts).
