Tonight I am grateful that Michael is too cheap to spend money at the laundry mat. He'd rather ride MILES home in a cold rain and do his laundry HERE with ME. I stopped at the store on the way home and bought a little food for here and A LOT of goodies to make a big pot of (vegetarian) chili for the Occupants. I really didn't want to leave the house tonight so I will make it either tomorrow or at least by Saturday. At least soon their lack of refrigeration will be solved! Brrr. I would not like the idea of camping in the winter with no campfire. I guess that is why I show my support with food - I'm too selfish to sacrifice my own comfort, but I'm nice enough to cook for them. a little. when I feel like it. when I have money (kinda). when it's convenient. when...
I bought melatonin to try for my insomnia. I probably should have waited for the weekend to try the first time. I hear it packs a wallop. We shall see.

I took Melatonin a few times, and although it helped me sleep, it made me have really violent dreams. I never have violent dreams, and it only happened when I took it. So I threw it away because my dreams scared me so bad. But I have heard that if it works with your brain chemistry that it is a miracle worker. I hope it works for you, and you can finally get some sleep.
I removed my comment because it posted twice. :)
I had dreams that I was being stung by bees last night. I've heard that about dreams and melatonin. I have bad dreams so frequently I am not ready to attribute it to the melatonin, however. The worst part is that I only slept three hours, then I awakened, took another dose and slept three more hours. I really want something that will make me sleep all night. Christine, my "life coach" thinks I can do it with EFT tapping and positive affirmations. I promised to work on it over the weekend.
I rarely catch daytime talk self-help shows but did see an ending segment of Dr. Oz, recently. It was on sleep and that was something mentioned about melatonin. But it may have been more focussed on dosage, from person to person. The nightmares.
Really surprised me! :O
