What a cool mom, huh?
We are going to go listen to a jazz quartet. The bass player is a guy that I am hoping may be Beautiful Ben's successor after Beautiful Ben moves away this spring. I think Michael should hear and meet him before we pursue it any further.

Is Beautiful Ben Michael's teacher? I hope you enjoy the music.
We did enjoy the music. Some of it was the jazz I hate - they take turns playing long improv solos that I think are absolutely boring, but for a while they had a singer and the bassist whom I wanted Michael to hear played one nice bowed solo. We only stayed for one set because M is such an early to bed guy, but I think he was glad we went and he talked to Beautiful Ben (his current improv teacher) about it some.
